Avoid reversing into traffic
Drive onto the turntable, rotate the vehicle and leave the driveway facing forwards. This can make access much easier where reversing onto a road is difficult or uncomfortable.

A car turntable can simplify manoeuvring where the driveway is narrow, unusually shaped or too short for a conventional three-point turn.
Forward-in, forward-out access

Groundwork & base
A reinforced 150mm concrete slab is prepared to a flat tolerance of ±3mm, ready for the turntable and ground anchors.
Turntable & motor fit
Our engineers install the aluminium and stainless steel turntable and connect the 550W motor to a standard 230V domestic supply.
Test & handover
Every unit is tested through a full rotation, including speed and safety checks, before handover with remote fobs and warranty information.

How does a driveway turntable work?
A motorised platform rotates your vehicle, normally through 180 degrees, allowing you to change direction without reversing onto the road. The driver positions the vehicle on the platform, activates the rotation and then drives away facing the required direction.
What size driveway turntable do I need?
The appropriate diameter depends on the vehicle's overall dimensions, wheelbase, turning requirements and the available driveway space. Our current residential options include 4.5m and 5.5m diameter platforms. We confirm the appropriate size during the site survey.
How much weight can the turntable support?
The current specification provides a 3,000kg working payload. The platform is also roll-over rated to 4,000kg on pneumatic tyres.
How high is the driveway turntable?
The turntable is approximately 36mm high, allowing it to integrate closely with the surrounding driveway surface.
Can a turntable be installed on an existing driveway?
Installation depends on the existing driveway construction, available depth, drainage, vehicle requirements and the required foundation. We assess these factors during the initial survey before confirming the installation design.
Do I need planning permission for a driveway turntable?
Planning and highway requirements vary according to the property and local authority. A turntable may form part of an access proposal, but it does not automatically remove other planning or highway requirements. We recommend checking the requirements for your particular property before work begins.
How long does installation take?
Installation time depends on the site, groundwork, existing driveway and final specification. Your installation programme will be confirmed following the site survey.
